*Background music consisted of various songs from Explosions In The Sky. A great instrumental outfit who's music we frequently use - so you know it was good!

This was our twenty-second show and it was also our second to last show of the semester. And there were two of us in the studio. See how we're working with two's here? Never mind the math - Never Mind the Mainstream is running out of steam, but we still have a lot of gas left in the tank. Rock is alive and our playlist proved just that: we played everything under the sun, new and old, from The Sex Pistols to Tokyo Police Club to Gnarls Barkley to Warren Zevon, and featuring Jim's interview with Brooklyn indie rebels Pela! A crazy mix devised by crazy DJs for crazy music fans. Next week is our big finish for the school year and you'll be without us for the entire summer. Bummer. But it doesn't have to be a somber, sniffle fest. You can call in and IM us all show long to show your love for great alternative and indie rock 'n' roll. See you next week for another great set and our finale!

Our show really did have a lot to do with numbers. Learn something, kids.
