INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER OF KUR?
The only requirements are that you be a student, faculty, or staff of Kutztown University and have an interest in radio! If you meet that requirement:
1) Mark it on your calendar to attend our mandatory member meetings every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in LC 113-B beginning on September 1st, during the first week of classes! The only difference all semester will be during the week of September 7th, where the meeting will be that Thursday, September 10th, same time.
2) Join our Yahoo Internet Listserv by clicking here for free (you may need to sign up for a free Yahoo account, if you don't have one), and pay attention daily to the messages posted. We, as a student organization, communicate with our members outside of meetings via this great tool. As a member or potential member of KUR, you are required to use this tool, and are responsible for all messages posted through the listserv.
3) Attend each of the following four sessions of training (no exceptions). Choose which of the two options for each of the four workshops best suits you. Dates/Times subject to change or elimination based on the availability of guest speakers. Keep abreast of changes by reading our listserv daily:
Workshop # 1: Either Monday, 9/21 or Tuesday, 9/22 at 6 p.m. in LC 113-B.
Workshop # 2: Either Wednesday, 9/23 or Thursday, 9/24 at 6 p.m. in LC 113-B.
Workshop # 3: Either Monday, 9/28 or Tuesday, 9/29 at 6 p.m. in MSU 188.
Workshop # 4: Either Wednesday, 9/31 or Thursday, 10/1 at 6 p.m. in MSU 322.
