From Wikipedia: Mr. Jeff Beck was nominated for 2009 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was promptly chosen for induction for the April 4, 2009 ceremony.He was inducted on this day by his good friend and fellow former Yardbirds guitarist, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin.
He was ranked the 14th on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".
