What an epic return! Thanks to EVERYONE who tuned in/called us/IMed us/had us in their thoughts. Running a show is always a little rusty after about a month or so out of the studio, but The Natch and I pulled off a pretty decent program and we hope you all enjoyed what we had for you! We dropped new tunes from The Killers, Lily Allen, The B.P.A. (Feat. David Byrne & Dizzy Rascal), & Dead Man’s Bones. We also spun a mash-up (Kanye West's "Love Lockdown" Vs. The Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter"), an album outtake (The Replacements), and an early live recording (R.E.M.)! And if that wasn't enough to make you go nuts, we also played a sick cover (CSS doing "Cannonball"? What?) and a range of classic and modern tunes from some of the best players in the game. Next Friday is our second show of the semester and we're bringing the rock, so stay tuned to NMtM only on Kutztown University Radio!
